With decades of hands-on experience in professional drag racing, our mission is simple: provide teams with the track intelligence, surface data, and expert guidance needed to make smarter race-day decisions.
What began at the age of 21, working at Maple Grove Raceway, quickly became a lifelong passion for drag racing and racing surface performance. Starting in technical inspection, the journey progressed through staging operations and water box assistance, providing valuable hands-on knowledge of race-day procedures from multiple perspectives.
After years of experience and proven performance, advancement came quickly — first as Assistant Starter and later as Head Starter — working closely with racers, crews, and track personnel at highly competitive levels of the sport.
That experience expanded nationally through opportunities with the NMRA and NMCA series, working alongside respected Head Starter TJ “El Preppe” Bailey. Following TJ’s departure, leadership responsibilities grew with promotion to Head Starter for both organizations, spending three years learning directly under Kurt Johnson while gaining deeper expertise in race operations, track preparation, and racing surface evaluation.
International experience later brought opportunities to assist with drag-racing track preparation in Kuwait before returning to the United States to continue working alongside Kurt Johnson on various racing projects. During this time, additional motorsports industry experience was gained through work with Laris Motorsports Insurance, helping racers secure specialized insurance solutions for race cars and racing programs.
